Itinerary

Daytrip :

Meet at hotel lobby and start the day with a short drive to Mari Mari Cultural Village, about 25 minutes from the city. Enjoy the views of green forest and open skies along the way.

On arrival, step into the world of old Borneo. Walk through unique traditional houses and learn about the different tribes of Sabah. Each house is built by the tribe’s own people, showing true and original designs.

Visit small huts where you can see daily activities from the old days. Watch demonstrations on how to make a blowpipe, start a fire with bamboo, make tattoos, and learn about the meanings behind each craft.

See how tree bark is turned into clothing and try jumping on the Lansaran, a traditional trampoline floor. Taste local treats like rice wine (Montoku) and enjoy bamboo-cooked food.

End the visit with a lively cultural show by the villagers, then enjoy a traditional meal before returning to your hotel.
