Overview
This three-day program offers a close encounter with Borneo’s rich wildlife along the Kinabatangan River while staying at Myne Resort. Upon arrival at Sandakan airport or your hotel, you will transfer through lush jungle scenery to the resort, where lunch awaits. In the afternoon, explore the Merbau Trail and see the historic 100-year-old Merbau tree before joining a river cruise to spot macaques, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, and possibly pygmy elephants. After dinner, join a night safari jungle drive to search for nocturnal wildlife.
On the second day, enjoy a peaceful breakfast by the river before a morning jungle walk to discover different animals active at that hour. Spend the midday relaxing at the resort and enjoy a local tea break before another afternoon river cruise for more wildlife spotting. After dinner, experience a night river cruise to look for night creatures among the riverbanks.
On the final day, begin with a light breakfast and join a morning river cruise to witness the river waking up to life. Return to the resort for a full breakfast with river views, then check out and transfer back to Sandakan, ending a memorable wildlife adventure.
