Overview

Cameron Highlands is the most popular highland destination in Malaysia. Many people come here to escape the heat from the lowland areas in Peninsular Malaysia. It is home to the largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia and has many vegetable farms.

This tour is great for travelers who have limited time. In one day, you will visit the tea plantation, tea factory, rose garden, strawberry farm, and butterfly park. This shared coach tour starts early in the morning. Be ready at your hotel lobby by 7 am to depart from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands. Spend the day exploring before returning to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The estimated arrival time back in the city is 8 pm.

Itinerary

Daytrip :

0500 am Pick up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur city centre
Leave Kuala Lumpur for Cameron Highlands

0800 am Breakfast at your own expense

0830 am Mossy Forest discovery

Entrance fee for Mossy Forest is RM30 for adults and RM15 for children aged 6 to 12

The journey starts with a short stop at Sungai Palas Tea Plantation which is one of the largest plantations in Southeast Asia. From there continue driving up to Mount Brinchang, the highest peak in Cameron Highlands at 6666 feet above sea level.

Climb the viewing tower and enjoy the fresh cool air and beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Next, take a guided walk into Mossy Forest to see unique plants like pitcher plants, wild ginger, ferns, and wild orchids. Learn basic forest survival tips and discover other native plants from the guide. The forest is often covered in mist, giving it a magical fairy tale feel.

After that, head down to visit the oldest tea factory in Malaysia. A factory guide will show you around.

Enjoy a cup of tea at the Ummph Tea Cafe while taking in the wide view of the tea plantation.

Then visit the Butterfly Farm where you can see colorful butterflies like Raja Brooke along with insects and snakes.

You can visit Lavender Garden entrance fee RM20 or try picking strawberries at a local farm

0400 pm Leave Cameron Highlands and head back to Kuala Lumpur
