This two-day climb offers a complete Mount Kinabalu experience, combining adventure and stunning natural views.
On the first day, you start early with a hotel pickup and a scenic two-hour drive to Kinabalu Park. After registration and meeting your mountain guide, you begin your trek from Timpohon Gate. The climb takes you through different forest zones before reaching Panalaban Assorted Hut in the late afternoon. You enjoy a buffet dinner and rest overnight to prepare for the summit push.
On the second day, you start before dawn to reach Low’s Peak in time for sunrise. After taking in the breathtaking view, you descend to Panalaban Base Camp for breakfast and then continue down to Timpohon Gate. You collect your achievement certificate at the park headquarters and enjoy lunch before returning to Kota Kinabalu.

Morning. Pick up from your hotel lobby. Travel two hours to Kinabalu Park headquarters and collect your packed lunch.
9.00 am. Register, meet your mountain guide, and get your ID tag. Wear it at all times.
Late morning. Transfer to Timpohon Gate and start your climb. The trek takes about four to five hours, passing oak, mossy, and alpine forest zones.
Late afternoon. Arrive and check in at Panalaban Assorted Hut at 3,230 meters.
6.00 pm. Enjoy buffet dinner at Laban Rata restaurant.
Night. Overnight at Panalaban Assorted Hut.
2.00 am. Wake up for a light meal and continue to the summit.
5.40 am. Reach Low’s Peak at 4,095 meters and catch the sunrise if weather allows.
7.00 am. Descend to Panalaban Base Camp for breakfast and check out.
1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. Arrive at Timpohon Gate.
Afternoon. Collect your certificate at headquarters.
After. Enjoy lunch at Liwagu Restaurant before returning to Kota Kinabalu. The drive takes about two hours.
