08:15 AM — You will be picked up at your hotel lobby and driven into the green countryside of Sabah.
First stop is Tamparuli Town, where you can walk on the well-known suspension bridge called Jambatan Tamparuli and enjoy the local town vibe.
Next, visit the Nabalu Handicraft Market, a small hill stop where local sellers offer fresh fruits, vegetables, and handmade crafts.
01:30 PM — Have lunch at a local restaurant.
02:30 PM — After lunch, continue to Desa Cow Farm. As the roads narrow, you will see wide green fields at the foot of Mount Kinabalu. Here, cattle roam the open land and produce fresh milk. You can get close to the cows, bottle feed the calves, and try fresh milk or yoghurt from the farm.
Then, head to Kundasang and check in at a mountain resort. You will notice the cooler air at this higher place. Enjoy free time to explore the resort as you like.
07:30 PM — Dinner and overnight at the mountain resort.
05:30 AM — Wake up to a cool misty morning with views of Mount Kinabalu covered in soft light. Birds sing and clouds fill the valley below.
Start your day at Poring Hot Springs. Walk the Canopy Treetop Walk, a 175-meter walkway hanging 60 meters above the forest, and see the old rainforest from above. A short 20-minute hike is needed to reach the walkway.
After that, relax in the hot sulphur baths surrounded by gardens, or try the nearby cold pool.
01:30 PM — Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, visit Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of Kinabalu UNESCO Global Geopark.
At 1,500 meters above sea level, the park covers 754 square kilometers and has Mount Kinabalu at its center. The mountain rises 4,095 meters and stands above the valleys below.
Breathe in the cool fresh air as you join a guided walk through the Botanical Garden and learn about the plants in the park.
05:00 PM — Return to Kota Kinabalu city and drop off at your hotel.
