How to make a Booking?

Overview

This three-day Mount Kinabalu adventure begins with a scenic two-hour drive passing valleys and traditional villages along the Crocker Range, including a stop at Nabalu to explore fresh fruits, local vegetables, and handmade souvenirs. You will stay overnight at Kinabalu Park Headquarters, enjoy a peaceful mountain atmosphere, and prepare for your climb. On the second day, after breakfast and registration, start the ascent from Timpohon Gate, moving through oak, chestnut, mossy, and alpine forest zones before reaching Panalaban Base Camp at 3,272 meters for an overnight stay. Early on the third day, continue the final climb to Low’s Peak at 4,095 meters, where a breathtaking sunrise awaits if weather permits. After descending to the base camp for breakfast and checking out, proceed back to Kinabalu Park Headquarters to collect your Certificate of Achievement, enjoy lunch, and return to Kota Kinabalu City. This journey offers physical challenge, unforgettable views, cultural stops, and a complete mountain experience with all meals and transfers included.

Itinerary

Day 1 :

12.30 pm — Pickup at hotel lobby or airport for departure.
Start two-hour drive to Kinabalu Park Headquarters immediately after pickup.
Pass villages and valleys along the Crocker Range during journey.

Stop at Nabalu to see fruits, vegetables, and local crafts.

3.00 pm — Check in at Kinabalu Park Headquarters accommodation.
Free time to rest and enjoy the cool mountain air.

7.30 pm — Dinner at local restaurant nearby Kinabalu Park area.
Overnight stay at Kinabalu Park Headquarters accommodation.

Day 2 :

7.30 am — Breakfast at Liwagu Restaurant inside Kinabalu Park area.
Collect packed lunch from restaurant before leaving for registration.
Proceed to Park Headquarters to register for your mountain climb.
Guide handles registration, mountain guide assignment, and ID tag issue.
Wear your ID tag at all times during entire climbing trip.

12.00 pm — Transfer to Timpohon Gate for official climb start.
Begin ascent to summit of Mount Kinabalu from Timpohon Gate.
Climb takes around four to five hours depending on pace.
Pass oak, chestnut, mossy, and alpine vegetation zones on trail.
Arrive at Panalaban Base Camp, located at 3,272 meters elevation.
Check into assigned accommodation and take rest after long climb.

7.30 pm — Buffet dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant in base camp.
Overnight stay at Panalaban Base Camp accommodation.

Day 3 :

2.00 am — Wake up for early supper before final summit climb.
Continue climb to Low’s Peak at 4,095 meters above sea level.
Enjoy sunrise view at summit if weather and timing allow.

7.00 am — Return to Panalaban Base Camp for breakfast meal.
Check out after breakfast and begin descent to Timpohon Gate.

Arrive at Kinabalu Park Headquarters between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm.
Collect your Certificate of Achievement at Headquarters upon return.
Buffet lunch at Liwagu Restaurant after completing descent journey.
Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu City, takes about two hours.

  • For order less than 48 hours, booking is subjected to Tourist guide and room availability. We will discuss any change with you on how we can make your tour success if change need to be made. Any refund is subjected to 10% management cost as last option of your booking.

Useful Travel Tips :

In a cool subtropical highland climate, it's best to dress in layers to adapt to varying temperatures throughout the day and potential rain. Pack a light jacket or sweater, long-sleeved shirts, and a waterproof jacket or umbrella. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes.
